Since this april,,there hav been some changes in vat rates in office and school stationery products...can anyone help me in finding the exact vat rates in cutlery,stationery items in detail..i tried a lot but couldnt find anywhere new rates or detailed productwise vat rate...

Vat tax rate in maharashtra

Reduction in rate of tax from 12.5 per cent to 5 per cent on educational material. Attached here with the Notification issued by Government of Maharashtra. Pls, refer Sl. No.11 of the notification.
