I have purchase one plot on 2012 but now company demand a VAT tax of 5 % on the total cost is it right demand shall i pay this or not

VAT is leviable on goods which are movable in nature. It can be tangible or intangible.
Plot is an asset which is not movable so the question of VAT doesn't arise in the present case.
Correct me if I am wrong.

Sir If Some Body Pay Rs.200000/- Against part payment of his villa so how we calculate service tax and sbt on this amount please help
