The E-Way Bill was locked on 20th of May 2026 because the due date for the second consecutive missing GSTR-3B return (April 2026) passed without filing. The solution: The taxpayer must file the pending GSTR-3B returns for both months. The E-Way Bill system will automatically unblock within 24 hours of filing, or it can be manually refreshed on the E-Way Bill portal using the "Update Block Status" feature.
