Dear Experts!
Due to personal problems i may not be attending my all ca final papers.
but i want to get the exemption in IDT as iam having good prepation in it.
I was appreared in the Accounts paper.
My question is that do i need to appear in all the papers or Only IDT paper i go and get the exption.
Someone told that in 2nd group i have to score atleast 100 marks in aggregate(including exemption).
iam totally confused. kindly help me.

Dear Sumit,
As Atir and Nisha said, the criteria for getting exemption in a paper is to secure 60+ marks in the paper concerned and attend all the papers of that group. There's no rule that you must secure minimum 100 in the group.
Although I don't have the document in my hand to prove what I am saying, but you will definitely get exemption in IDT if you get 60+ marks in IDT and 0 in other papers i.e. COSTING, ISCA & DT.
Truly agreed with all the above .... But can I ask 1 thing ... r u really sure ...U wil score zero in others....take those papers also seriously .... Nt bcz u r nt prepared ...
Bt bcz it wil give u a real glimpse of ur prep ....

I still remember in my IT exam a person who sitted next to me , had already declared himself fail and was just asking the teacher when he can leave d examination hall ......
So I would req u don't do tht ...even If u knw nothing ...Bt stil try to give ur best ...whatever u acquired through ur practice + articleships + coaching ...
