i have my ca final attempt due in this november..but my preparations are not upto the level, so i have decided i'll go for both the groups in may,12 only.. so whther my attempt due in this nov will be counted if i will nt avail this attempt ????

Yes, officially it will be counted whether you appear or not once you fill up the exam form and submit it to ICAI.
Attempt in the sense only if you have applied for exam whether you appear or not.

Even i m going through same dielema...but the major prob is wether course will remain the same or it will undergo significant changes ...rather thn thinking abt Attempts...
Dont worry attempt will not be counted... All the best!!! Study well!!!
dont be serious on no. of attempts. It matters only in first interview. later on everyone wants your experience.
