Dear all,

I was a part of the national convention of students held at pune on 9th & 10th January,2010. CA Jaydeep Shah had graced d occasion....He has clarified that the proposal has now come to the BOS & then will go to the council for due consideration...he also stressed on the fact that the decision can be positive or negative....My personal opinion is that we should not keep on speculating on this matter as this is not going to benefit many students as their articleship will be over by the time the decision comes....i expect the decision to come between february to may considering the procedures involved....we should concentrate on studies.....coz these decisions are not in our hands....students including me had sent mails to ICAI bt the decision will come when there r many deliberations & consensus is reached.

no there was no discussion, Girish....we students only many times speculate n spread fear before the actual thing comes out on ICAI website...many thngs like IFRS N GST to learn............lets nt speculate ...

Hi All! Cannot undersatnd this procedural delay at this eleventh hour! If they make a rule it must b applicable to all students of the scheme, equally! why do they exclude the 1 st batch? v ll b completing 3.5 years by June!! So unfair!
