I downloaded the ITR2 EXCEL Utility. While enetering the Unique TDS Certificate Number the software has a validation that the number is 8 Characters long. One HAS to enter a 8 Character Unique TDS Certificate no. However, the Certificate no on the Top of form 16A is only 6 Characters long. So whats the solution?

I have also faced the same proble in ITR -2, i have filled the receipt number of original quaterley tds statement of tds ., which is 8 digit & i have also faced onother problem in ITR -2 which is total of house propery Income .
Yes it is 8 digit receipt no.. For House property,fill all reqd. data including address & I think this will solve ur problem.
