When i trying to upload ITR - 5 for the assessment year 2012 -13 in the new website of incometaxindiaefiling, the following message displayed : "The XML schmea is invalid. upload correct XML schema". i could not understand the problem. Please help me in this regard.

I was also facing same problem. but later on, it automatically resolved, my return was uploaded.
it simple create a fake path folder in the c drive and save the xml file in that folder then browse it.....
download the latest xls file and generate the xml file ....do that you can file it................
just download the latest xls file. and then upload it. It will be filed without any error for sure.

And more one thing .u can do that..Update Principal Contact details after login into New E-Filing site...under Profile Settilngs Tab..
