Unable to concentrate on studies....plz help

Hi Friends,

Im giving only grp 1 in nov.....i hv quit office....no other commitments......i hv studied jus 30% of the syllabus so far........im unable to giv my best.......sitting in front of book, i wil be thinking whether to go for job or practice, which subj to specialise etc etc and wasting max time daily......is this common problem or only with me???.....

I hav also become very lazy, not showing seriousness towards final...this is my 2nd attempt......I want to clear.....plz give me some idea so that im back on track.......

This problem is with everyone no one concerate on studies due to office and job..

I prefer you to make daily target and try to ahcive on daily basis...To get some motivation see this link

actually everyone thinks like you due to less time left for exam.try not see Tv or pc and specailly facebook..

While studying switch off or silent or phone and also ask your family members not to distub you while you are studying.

same thing with me also. i also want to give only one group but i have lot of tension for SFM i think i am very weak . what to do yar....

me too..i've done reading full sylabus once..but cant remember anything..daily i am fixing targets,oly somedays i am able to achieve..half the times i am postponing..i am planning to give oly one group I

pls can any one tell me wen institute is holding model exams in chennai..pls help..atleast if i write model i will sit and study..

@ Ashok u also try to write some 2 model exams..try to write in place near to ur house so tat travelling time not wasted..

nobody can advise abt how to get interest in CA..its oly u who have to decide wat u want..so ask yourself hundred times wat u really want and then proceed..

Main thing to do is avoid Social Media Sites COMPLETELY until the Exams are finished. These sites grabs unneccessary attention of ours & wastes a lot of time. Do not think about Job at this time. If u Mix Study & Job thinkings, u will not be able to stick to anything. And after the exams u will end up nothing but another depression & frustration. Focus fully on Study as it is ONLY THING TO DO NOW. Try to divide the daily schedule into slots of 2 Hours each for one subject. Try to cover all subjects daily as against studying one subject on one full day, .and later on later day like that. Studying all subject daily will grasp ur equal attention. In these two hours, try to study only one subject on each day. Try it for One Week, u will be sticked to doing it until ur exams. But DO NOT THINK OF ANY JOB NOW.. BEST REGARDS..

take a full day 'off', do whatever you want.(perhaps you are in a vacation mood, since you have quit work) and then think about what CA means to you. you have to make your personal plan. there is no single plan that works for everybody.some people like rigid timetables, and for some it is suffocating.

you urself say you've already covered 30%. you can easily manage another 40-50% on that. the foundation is already laid. put yourself in the gear. think of all the glory. do this even if its just for the euphoria you will feel on result day. go for it.

hi Ashok , concentrating for 12 hours or more in a day is difficult so i would recommend you to take small small breaks in between your studies and spend at least 30 minutes to 1 hour ( in a day) with friends uptill 20 days are left to exam.

in the last 20 or 25 days to exam you would automatically be able to concentrate for 15 hours or more.

Hi, this advice may look weird but it works. Have you heard about pyramids? Do you know what these are known for? For concentration, energy and power. Yes, for concentration, energy and power. Try the following for few days, you will feel the difference.

- Go to temple (the top of which is in pyramidical shape) for half an hour on daily basis specially in morning. You can even study there.

- Get a cap in pyramidical shape and wear it while studying.

- Get a pyramid mat and stand on it bare foot for sometime daily.

Motivation-The Manchester United Way!

Sometimes I often come across people who say that they lack some kind of motivation to excel and do better in life. But for that you need to dream and work towards your goal.

I want to share a story …a story about the rise of the greatest clubs of all times…a story which can simply be called as from rags to riches… Let me take you to the 1958 football championships. It was 6th February 1958.Manchester United were looking forward for a big match against Munich. Everyone considered Manchester united as the favorites. But destiny had something else stored for them The Incident... The team was returning back to England from European championships when their plane crashed after some engine malfunction.Almost the entire team including the captain perished in the shocking accident. The remaining team and Manchester united fans were shattered. The team got later disqualified from the championships (they won the next game after the crash but lost the following 10). So was it the end of a glorious empire? Will the team ever comeback in the group of elite football clubs? These were some of the questions being raised at the time… The Team may have died but the burning desire in them to be number 1 was still alive. The Zeal and Determination to Succeed… The team manager at that time (Matt Busby) and members still had in them the zeal and determination to succeed in the world front. This is what they did They created another team called Manchester United (before the crash it was Busby babes). They practiced day and night…the team was determined to clinch back the number 1 status. The Efforts paid of… The efforts paid of. Though they never won any championship for 10 years after 1958 championships, they won the FA cup in 1968. Now there was no championship that the team didn’t win. Manchester United never saw back and kept conquering title after title and everyone’s heart. When People thought it was the End… Whenever you travel to Old Trafford (rightly called the Mecca of football), England. Do visit the Manchester United Home ground and have a look at an old clock hanging to the right corner of the stadium. It will be dated 6th February 1958... 3.04 pm.The Clock was stopped that very instant when the news of the crash came. When people thought that it was the END. Dreams are conquered by Hardwork and Determination… So friends stop thinking that you won’t be able to crack the exam because it’s not of my level. It’s impossible for me to get there...Blah…Blah…Blah. Just think of the team, Manchester United whenever you feel demotivated.The team was able to conquer all the feats due to their utmost hard work and unbelievable determination. After all Impossible is Nothing…

main problem regarding your study is your laziness... and to be honest .... You are not sure of your success by yourself .... You have already declared yourself fail ... ( Sorry for being too straight forward)

just because due to this you are more focused on future ...as because it's easy to dream rather than working towards goal ...

this kind of problem can happen with me with you and even with anyone .......

1. First change your place of reading.

i.e I read with full concentration when I am reading on stairs on my home ... but such thing don't happen while laying on bed or sitting on chair ... So find where you are fully devoted towards study.

2. be realistic :-

All ur dreams are waste unless you don't clear your CA ... Job n practice will follow this ultimately.

3.Focus on Imp :-

days are less. So focusing on important will bring you some confidence that you can do good and get passed in CA final exams.

Once you gain the enough confidence such thoughts won't disturb you anymore.

4. Failure feeling ....

And whenever you feel low or such lazy ......then just ask from yourself Do you really regret being a failure .... or just enjoying the Tag of being a faliure .......
