a person has two pan. He applied First pan and file the return of IT for the F. Y. 2018-19 . later on he notice that his DOB is wrong on his pan , & his pan is not linked with aadhar , he applied second Pan. The second pan number is already linked with his aadhar. Now he want to surrender his new pan and want to correct the old pan. What is the procedure. ? Is old pan can be amended because his aadhar already linked with new pan?

The one PAN you need to surrender with reasons. The one with you now is a PAN which will be modifiable if required.

If i surrender the new , can it will automatically delink from my aadhar immediately? can i correct my old pan immediately after surrender and it will link my aadhar.

Nobody can specify speed but yes it is faster than earlier it was.

No....I was working on same issue for 6 months and came to know from NSDL AND IT DEPT , that they dont have any authority or system for delinking of adharcard from Pan..

You are requested to contact your jurisdictional A.O. and Nearest TIN center for getting Proper Solution...


Till that DO NOT SURRENDER ANY OF YOUR PAN
