Is CA Foundation Compulsory for Becoming a Chartered Accountant in India?

Many students who dream of becoming a Chartered Accountant often ask, “Is CA Foundation compulsory?” This question usually comes up when they look at the CA course structure and wonder if there’s any way to skip the entry-level exam. Can a student directly register for CA Intermediate without passing CA Foundation? Is there any exemption for graduates or postgraduates? Or is CA Foundation mandatory for everyone who wants to pursue the Chartered Accountancy journey?

No, it is not compulsory but you have to at least pass with bachelor degree to skip this exam.

So which way is more easier?

Both are equally tough, becaus foundation level is not much difficult. But to skip this exam, you are undergoing 3 years of bachelor degree which in itself is a big time.

Hmm...you are right. Thanks for the insight.
