If one person is the owner of a factory unit and has obtained GST number on its unit address. He has also rented some space to another person who has also obtained GST number on the same address.
Is this possible???

Yes... if room number is different, gst registration possible.
Yes , the lessee can obtain GST number., But there must be seprate structural partition , like cabin , room etc
Its a small gala with only one entrance. The owner is in retail business and tenant has a manufacturing business.
