Employee salary slip does not have any mention of employer contribution to NPS but NPS statement from PFRD show both employer and employee contributions. Form 16 issued by the employer doesnot show deduction of employer NPs contribution u/s 80CCD (2) under new regime. Now how to proceed with ITR as to claim 80CCD(2) or not? Learned counsels plz elaborate.

- Contact the employer: Reach out to the HR or payroll department to request an updated Form 16 that reflects the employer NPS contributions.
- Verify the NPS Statement: Ensure that the NPS statement from PFRDA is accurate and reflects the correct employer contributions.
- File a revised ITR : If necessary, file a revised ITR to claim the deduction under Section 80CCD(2).
