Treatment of MIS(monthly income scheme)
Sir , what will the the treatment of mis on the maturity time. How i have to report the mis on maturity in my itr

since interest income already considered in accurual Time.
so corpus is not taxable at the time of maturity
so corpus is not taxable at the time of maturity
but how i show that amt in itr which i get at last .
In exempt income schedule others m maturity of MIS
on which column of expemt i have to put that amt.because ther are 3 -4 or more option to feed the amt in correct column
On maturity of MIS you are getting your money back from Post Office.
Where is the question of income or exempt income !!!
