Technique to prepare Section in Company Law

Strategy/technique to prepare Section in Company Law:

1. First read the Section from Bare Act as bare act contain the pure law passed by legislature/Parliament.

2. Then read the same section from your law book with full concentration. You may refer book of Munish Bhandari for CA IPCC/PCC and CA Final.

3. Now it is the turn of your coaching notes. Read them thoroughly. Analyse all the situations discussed in the class.

4. Now read all the previous exam problems based on that particular section from book. Use scanner with ICAI suggested answer to prepare previous exam problems. Try and understand the application of section in practical problem.

If you follow the above 4 points carefully and honestly then you may consider your section finished for life. Believe me and try this method.

Best Regards

hello ankur bhaiya...

plz resolve my confusion..

for a five marks question how much word limit or page limit should be there in pcc. ...

one page is enough or not.

the answer sheet we get in exams contain approx 15 to 20 lines in one page ,

in law tomorrow maximum question will be of 5 marks only.... sooo...

plz reply soon.

Dear Meera,

According to me for a 5 marks question there is simply no need to write full one page. Simply use 60% to 80% page with real content. Seedhi baat and no bakwaas. IN other words 10 lines are more then enough. Use your energy to other questions. Bahut zyada khula-khula likhna ki zoorarat nahi hai.

If your are well prepared than you can write 10 lines in less than 5 minutes as other student can write 10-12 lines in 7-8 mintes by recalling the content. Whay i mean is your preparation and understanding should be so good ----ki tumha recall hi na karna pada.

As to give you a answer it hardly takes 2-3 minutes to think. This is all about understand the thing.

Regards

One more thing if one question contains 4 short notes of 5 marks each (earlier this system was in audit) then you must finish your question in max 20-22 minutes. Just imagine within 20 minutes of exam time your 20 marks question done. What else can you ask for a good start?

Let me tell you my practice. In my audit exam I used to attempt flat questions first. Open question paper from back side ---finish my 20 marks short note question in 20 minutes then attempt other flat questions. Never read entire question paper in the beginning.

This is what we called strategy based on exam pattern. To ensure this kind of strategy understanding of exam pattern is must and I was expert in that as per my friends. I used to prepare plans and exam strategy for my friends.

I have lots of things to share but you have less time.

All the Best

Please let me know there is still any doubt.

thanks a lot bhaiya for your reply...

"....... Seedhi baat and no bakwaas ...... " :)

i am definitely gonna  follow this pattern tomorrow and in all my further exams.......

attempting a 5 marker in 5 minutes need a lot of prior practice + one need to have sound concept clarity and that is only called as preparing in exam condition.... hena !!!!!!  which i lacked this time..... u know giving exams once give us a lot of experience............................

koi nahin.... i will start practicing for all these imp issues after this exams for sure .....  and hope by next time i will be in a better position .... !!!!

u said u have a lot of things to share....... plz plz share here it will be beneficial to every student and i will also check your post as and when i will get time today ....

Perfect attitude dear...Bilkul sahi catch kiya aapna.

But be careful --- nobody can catch or apply my techniques in a single day successfully as a lot of practice is required to follow my suggestions because they are not general and based on my personal observation. So it is always easy for me to follow and apply but may be difficult for others. If you blindely follow my or anyone's else suggestion --- your paper may be a complete disaster.

Likewise i need to take some time to understand and follow anybody else's suggestion.

From a student's point of view, i consider following things. Because, i already have cleared the PCC and will soon start preparations for FINALS.. So, i think, the following matters should be considered too:

A. Here, whatever is suggested by ANKUR SIR, is extreme and exclusively.. I mean, ofcoarse, its just not about preparing for exams, but preparing for lifetime. Seriously, if one follows the above steps, has to never consider the same at any other time....

B. I can say that, various sections and sub-sections, in LAW especially, are not that much related, that they are in INCOME TAX... Due to this, you get new section for new concepts.

C. Now, I consider it to be a very lenghthy process, to refer so many books, compiler and reference book too. So, please try to start this subject much before your exams. No one can sit for a month and crame all the sections and refer so much of material.

D. And if possible, have regular revision of all the sections, i mean, u should not stop learning new ones, but also keep revising the old ones. Do relate them, if they are...

True piece of advice as expected from you.

Further Your revision point is really essential to follow. As you have raised the issue of exam revision Let me tell you a real incident.

In CS Final Economic laws paper my revision schedule got completely failed due to length of course and just 1 hour before exam i had tears in my eyes as my entire hard work --- gonna be waste.

In exam i got MRTP procedure for 17 marks which i could not recall due to lack of revision and lost the entire attemp by 3 marks as i got 197. That is the only failure of my life.

But in the next attempt i scored 71 in economic laws (very rare) with foolproof revision schedule.

So focus on revision and prepare a revision schedule along with study.

There is no fixed rule about this but generaly it should go upto 8-10 lines. doe snot mean that you write bigger fonts in exams which most of us do.

that wont help anymore now. additionaly you have to be specific and to the point because in most of the subject you can take "Tukka maro.." method.

:) cheers :)

thanx ankur bhaiyaa

i wanna share something

i attended how to prepare for ca examination organised by ICAI itself

where i got an opportunity to hear and ask questions from

Shri vijay kapur( director board of studies ,he is question paper setter of icai since  a long span of time)

shri Vinod Jain ( chairman Board of studies)

Shri Amarjit Chopra( president ICAI)

Where to my shock Sri Vinod jain sir made a statement " MY OWN DAUGHTER IS A CA STUDENT, ONE DAY I ASKED SHOW ME WAT U ARE  LEARNING IN UR COACHING CLASES

i seen her dt and idt notes which i found very good

then i picked up her law book

to my surprise it consisted of more than 20% provisions wrong !!

when i asked my daughter why u learning from this book she said whole india learns from this book"

THEN ALL STUDENTS STARTED SHOUTIING PLEAE TELL US THE NAME OF THE BOOK

he said i cant tell u now as iam the president of ICAI

but if any body wanna knw drop me a mail and i will tell u if ur guess if right or not

then he emphasized on reading the bare act

the same point being discussed by ankur bhaiyaa above

He asked how many of u have seen Ramiyya book

to my surprise i was alone among 750 students who knw who is ramaiyaa

so guys iam not telling that munish bhandari is not good ( i mailed   shri vinod jain sir and he replied my guess is ok)

but u need to refer bare act too

ICAI is not a bench of jokers

they will hit us at the plce where we will be the most weaker !!!

Please emphasize on Point 1 and 2 above the most for ur sake

take care
