Tds on sale of immovable property (sec 194ia)

Dear all

If my purchaser deduct the 1% TDS on sale of property then can I claim back for refund this TDS.

Please clearify this TDS matter.

yes you can claim this tds while filing your income tax return.

Hi

Incase your income is not taxable in India or you have deposited excess tax or tax has been deducted from your income, whereas you are liable to pay less amount of tax out of your total income, you will get refund. Refund can only be claimed if an income tax return is filed.
