Dear Friebds,
My client making purchases on High Seas sales basis and keeps it in Port Warehouse. That port space belongs to a C&F Agency and my client re imburses plot rent to them. Now while paying this amount whether TDS provisions are applicable?
Or Any exemptions are available to them?

You are liable to deduct TDS u/s 194-I if the annual rent exceeds180000/- p.a.
TDS @ 10% to be deducted.
