We have received a invoice rs. 30000.00 from PF, ESI consultancy purpose . When we want to duduct TDS against this invoice u/s94j @ 10%
Party said not deducted tds because bill value not cross > 30000.00
Pleae solve this problem

If the total amount during the year does not exceed 30k then you are not required to deduct TDS. if suppose they raise another invoices for any amount in the same year then you will have to deduct on new invoice as well as on 30k invoice

Deductable on taxable portion, based on per payment.
