TDS in GST on Sale of goods

Dear Sirs, Please clarify, we are selling goods to Govt. Company, ours is registered PVT LTD., & registered under GST. In this transaction TDS is applicable or not.

TDS Applicable only while dealing with Govt if your. sale is more than 2.5 lacs to GOVT , Govt will. deduct TDS .

A department or an establishment of the Central Government or State Government; or

Local authority; or

Governmental agencies; or

Such persons or category of persons as may be notified by the Government.

An authority or a board or any other body which has been set up by Parliament or a State Legislature or by a government, with 51% equity ( control) owned by the government.

A society established by the Central or any State Government or a Local Authority and the society is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.

Thanks, even the sale of goods between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, is the TDS applicable?

As per section 51 cgst : Tds is applicable when taxable supply is made to Govt & the value of per contact is more than 2.5 k. The Govt is liable to ded. tds @ 2%
