Dear All,
My accounts dept. has lost one TDS challan pertaining to A.Y. 2009-10. TDS is paid in July 2010, I've tried to trace the same thru NSDL site and got some but except BSR code.
Now my query is i don't know in which branch of PNB tds is deposited, as old accounts staff is left. So is there any mechanism on NSDL thru which i can trace either bank branch or its BSR code... ?
Can some body can help me on this ??????

You must have filed ur eTDS return. Check in that. Or a TDS certificate of Form 16A / Form 16 must have issued by you for F. Y. 2008 - 09. So check in that.
You can check with the TDS/Income Tax department with your TAN number they will tel weather its credited to your TAN number r not ,if its credited you will get the challan no.
If not credited tel him that u wil confirm with PNB
IN NSDL port you have options to check on the basis of TAN no. n ay year wise, you can trace bsr code through which bank r u check with previous challans thorugh which bank they paid, thorugh your company a/c it will be same as previous challans.
