TDS deducted & deposited on time as well as filled the return on due date but TDS certificate not issued on quaterly basis, it will be issued on comletion of the year, is it non compliance?

Dear Manishankar ,
As per Income tax law the deductor is bound to issue the TDS certificate withinn 30 days from the date of deduction. But normally people used to issue the certificate quarterly after filing quarterly return. There is practise of issue a single TDS certificate at the year end also. Department is not strict in charging for late issue of TDS certificate.
Deductee can check the TDS dedcuted by 26AS facility through Income tax site so he is also not in loser side . So TDS certificate is not that much importatnt now , if issue by late or not issed at all.

As per the Present Law TDS Certificate is to be issued quarterly.
