I would like to know the TDS applicability in case a company books hotel room for 3 days and the payment is in lacs. Is TDS to be deucted?

I think tds can not be deduct under any section of tds.
TDS is not to be deducted but if there is any contract with hotel then TDS is to be deducted u/s 194C @ 2%.

Agree with Shraddha.........if hotel has a contract wid the client ,,then yes otherwise no.......asper sec194 I
