Taxability
I had bought one ULIP policy for my son in 2008 with PPT 3 years. Now i have received the maturity amount. i would like to know whether the maturity amount is taxable.

Check if any TDS is deducted from maturity proceeds.
If yes, then its taxable.
WHAT'S THE MEANING OF PPT?
PPT means premium payment term.
