Scenario: Spouse if employed in middle east . His salary is not liable to any personal tax in ME. Part of his income is remitted to spouse account in India. Spouse uses that to repay loan for house property. This payment if over and above the normal payment done during the year.

Question: Is there a need to show the addiotnal principal repayment done from remitted amount in any tax filing of spouse in India? What are applicable tax clauses?

Full repayment should be declared in return of the husband.
