TODAYS 29/02/2012 LEAP YEAR BECAUSE OF THAT TALLY SERVERS NOT WORKING TODAY, TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM YOU NEED TO CHANGE SYSTEM DATE TO 01ST MARCH 2012. AND REACTIVATE THE LICENSE BY FOLLOWING YOUR EMAIL & TALLY.NET PASSWORD.

Deepak, there is no other opton, If I wanted to enter data with date 29-Feb-2012. I can not post 29th entreids in March !

WHY ????
Set your PC'sdate as 28.02.2012. and then cut .net connection by using F11 function. (say NO for tally.net connection). And then set date as 28.02.2012 in your tally. Now you may entered entries in the month of Feb'12. Please note in your mind you can not entered entries on 29.02.12

I have made system date to 01/03/2012 and i can enter entries in 29/02/2012 date. Also i have had a backup file of tally.lic which helped me.
And reactivation of license does not work.

With the financial year-end close by, its the time when the hackers and pirates are most active to exploit a Tally license. Therefore, Tally has implemented an immediate change in the validation. Tally needs a little co-operation from our partners and customers in this regard to ensure that customre's operations continue to run smoothly and their license becomes more secure. There are some updates on the Tally Licensing server due to which most of ERP9 licenses are getting into educational mode.
Note: There is no relation of voucher entry date. To resolve please follow one of the following methods. Option A. Change the system date to one day ahead i.e. 1st March 2012. Reactivate the license (F12-Licensing->Reactivate License). Then continue working with this date and license for the entire day. The date can be restored back to normal the next day. Option B Download the latest release Tally.ERP 9 Release 3.31 from our websitewww.tallysolutions.com. Reactivate the license(F12-Licensing->Reactivate License). Then continue working with the latest release. Note : You will need your admin id and password for reactivation. In case you have forgotten the password you can simply reset it by pressing F5 OR clicking Reset Password link in top right corner, which will send you an email to reset your password |
Thanks DEEPAK and you are 100% correct, because i made a call to TALLY cust. care and they too gave me the same instructions. Its PERFECTLY WORKING now
