surrender of Huf pancard
I want to surrender my friends Huf pancard.what is procedure for the same

First Dissolve the HUF by family settlement deed/ Dissolution Deed (with partition of immovable property, if any)
Report the same to jurisdictional ITO.
Apply for cancellation of PAN with a copy of dissolution deed.

Where one should submit the application to surrender and cancel the PAN Card.
It is already informed to the Jurisdictional office.
Online facility to surrender pan card is available, under the same tab as correction of PAN data

We have partitioned our HUF by duly registering a partition deed and reporting the same to our jurisdictional ITO in the year 2014 but no separate formality to cancel the PAN Card was done.
Does one have to do that seperately and if not done till date what are the consequences. Please advice.
