To apply serial number configuration:

Enable Item Tag

Configure this parameter to enable Item Tag & Additional Attributes

1. Go to Setup > General > System Parameters 

2. Click Item Tag under Categories The Parameters window for the selected category is displayed.

• Click Click to Configure under Value against the parameter, Enable Item Tag & Additional Attributes The Serial Number Parameters window is displayed.

• Select Enable Item Tag & Additional Attributes
