we have not received appointment letter from any bank for statutory audit 2009-10.
can we contact to any body for know reason for non allotement of any bank audit .

Same is the case with our's firm too.. We contacted at the ICAI office Delhi and was told that the procedure of all the banks for enjoying autonomy is almost over.. but it is possible that the left out auditors may be alloted branches by RBI itself, but the same depends on the no of branched left and the no. of auditors left so there is no surety of allotment.

We have received allotment letter for statutory branch audit.
As per these documents tax audit fee ( as we received in earliar years @ 15%) will not paid by bank to branch auditors for f.y. 2009-10 and onwards.
NO othe bank follow this proceedure. Is There anything wrong at higher level?
Our firm also not recvd any Bank Branch Audit. Last year We had 3 Bank branch Audit.
if you are in the sbi panel then not giveing tax audit fees is as per new rule of sbi
