STATUS OF PE II AFTER PCC/IPCC

u can start articleship only after u hav cleared either pe2 or pcc...and u can register only after u started articleship..

Hi friends,

What about old intermediate students, who have not cleared both groups till date but undergone 3 years articles training earlier? Do they also need to join articles once again? Will these students automatically permitted to write PCC exams after June 2009 or there is any specific provisions in this regard. Can anyone throw some light on this issue? Please.

Students who joined Intermediate / PE-II on graduation are not allowed to switch over to PCC unless the last examination i.e. June, 2009 examination is over. After completion of the PE-II exam in June, 2009 you can convert to PCC by paying the prescribed fee.
You have a option either to convert for PCC (upto 30th June, 2009 only after completion of PE-II exam) or  to IPCC.
 
If you register for PCC between 13-30th June, 2009. you have to join for articleship of 3 & 1/2 years. You have to complete IT training to become eligible for PCC exam (since completed not applicable to you). Last PCC exam is in November, 2012. On conversion from PE-II to PCC you will get group wise exemption.
 
In case, if you join for IPCC, as per the eligibility requirement of IPCC, student has to undergo 9 months sutdy course period compulsorily and have to complete 100 hours IT Training (if not completed earlier) and Orientation course in the study course period to become eligible to appear in the IPCC exam. First IPCC exam is in November, 2009 and you will get paper wise exemption in IPCC.
If you are desirous of appearing in IPCC November/ May examinations, you have to enrol /convert to IPCC on or before 31st January/ 31st July respectively i.e. If you convert to IPCC on or before 31st July, 2009 you can appear in the May, 2010 IPCC exam.

Hi Friends,

I have registered under PE-II and i haven't yet cleared any of the groups. I didn't get myself registered for ITT. I have few doubts about my next step which are mentioned below

If i convert to IPCC i will get attempt in May 2010 and i can register for articles only after clearing Group I of IPCC + ITT and from there, after 3 years i will get attempt for appearing Final examination.

If i opt for switching to PCC before June 2009,will i get attempt in Nov 2009. If i get attempt  my articles will start immediately from July 2009.

Kindly advice which one is the right way to choose either IPCC or PCC. I am bit confused.

Hey Vits U are right moreover , IPCC or PCC your final attempt will be in Nov 2012

If pcc you can write the exam in NOv 2009 provided you complete 3 months articalship before the exam and Alsio pass ITT exam ,

hey vits i have a quesion man ... we need to also submint for 102 & 103 before 30th june or only the registration form ??

Form 102 (Deed of articles) original will be retained by the Chartered Accountant and a duplicate copy will be given to articled assistant. Form 102 will not be submitted to the institute.

All my seniors submitted Form 103 along with the registration form while converting. However they is a clause in the guidelines issued by ICAI with respect to delay in submission of Form 103 to the institute.

Plz check out the last page i.e. page No:11 in the below attachment. I feel its better to submit Form 103 along with the registration form.

IF  U CLEAR PE-II THIS JUNE 2009... YOU WILL BE ABLE TO WRITE FINAL EXAM IN MAY 2012..THIS IS BCZ ALL PE-II WHO REGISTER FOR FINAL NEW COURSE MUST DO 3 & 1/2 YRS OF ARTICLESHIP..BUT..THEY CAN APPEAR FOR THE FINAL EXAM IN THEIR LAST YEAR OF ARTICLESHIP..i.e. AFTER 2.5 YRS OF ARTICLESHIP ITSELF..OK

i am satya . i was also facing same problem as of vits i mean i had also same doubt , but thanks very much for all ur sugessions. still i have one problem , that i have not yet decided the principal under whom i am going to join and that is also not possible within june 30 .

so plz  anybody  suggest me is that possible to submit form no 103 after june 30 ?Is it possible if i will send that conversion form along with demand draft before june 30 only?
