Standard Deduction of Marks in PCC Results

IPCC 6002 views 40 replies

Hey Can Anyone tell me that is this thing Correct that the Institute deducts marks of all the students to keep the passing percentage low.

All say this is done by the Institute and it is known as STANDARD DEDUCTION.

If it is done, then is it Fair, reasonable and Non-Objectionable?

Or

Should we students have to raise our Voice against it Socially?

heya...ths may be rumour..bt everyone is talking abt ths....especially whn result got postponned....

bt if we raise our voice.......

thn thnk wisely n say on wht basis we can raise our voice????..

coz we have no valid proof against ths misconduction......

Bap re Bap, hum to exam days me bhi Tax nehi parte the , uar here you are talking of standard deduction.... I personally think that the results will act according as the market fares. As we know markets are improving slowly. Companies need C.A.s You should look at it from a different perspective. If ICAI wants to keep the pass-out% low it will frame hard question. I dont think it will resort to unfair checking of answer-scriptts

LET'S WAIT WHAT TOMORROW RESULT SAYS....................!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Guys,

Please dont give improtance to such news regarding standard deuctions. Thats not the way it is done. If they want low pass outs, they would make the question paper tough and value it strict rather than reducing it by a concept of standard deduction.

Simple logic, Why would they do double work and if RTI is raised they would be in a soup if standard deduction is applied and its a double work for them, valuation and then deduction.

Dont get into such thoughts . If results are less than what they intended to, while setting the question paper, then there might be positive moderation, where those who are getting sub 40's would be passed in descending order of marks.

They are CAs; and they know how to make things work in a way that they(read uttam a.) wants.

Regarding; main brunt of recession was faced by india in 2008 ie under CA Ved Jain. And in 2010; india is well ahead in recovery against recession. U can compare pass percentage between those time and these exams.

That will prove UPA's argument of market demand will prove wrong.

LETS SEE TOMORROW..............

If you had studied well and written the exam well...

No one can deduct the mark of you...Here is no moderation scheme....

Now the competition is increased and large number of coaching classes for imparting the knewledge of the student....Winners will not do a different think but they will do things differently...If you adotiong the same notes of coaching institute and same pattern ...The most students presentation will be common...But you studied the subject and understood the concept and documented the concept in a note and revised the concept and presented the concept in your way..the success will be yours...Else believe all such Bhakwas

WITH ALL DUE RESPECT TO UPA, WE ARE THE NDA(NEW DARING ASPIRANTS) WHO WILL FACE THE RESULTS TOMORROW NOT WITH FEAR IN MIND BUT WITH BRAVERY...
nobody knows whether the results are manupulated or not but one thing is cleared that the answers are provided by the institute to the examiners and if a student adopt some different set of assumptions than i don't think he is awarded rightfully some answers given in suggested answers provided by institutes are absolutely wrong and some may have different answers also for example in financial management while calculating pay back period the salvage value should not be cnsidered evenly earned during the year because it will arise only in the end but in suggested answers it is also considered with operating cash flow of last year and no faculty no coaching centre how the famous they are not taking note of it they just follow the answer given by institute they dont have any own idea, concept if a student is intelligent enough to think differently he will be punished
IT HAPPENS ALL TIMES....DONT BE PANIC

all this is bull sh*t

Unfortunately, this speculation wont yield any result. We can only work towards making ourselves better.
