Dear All,

I will like to obtain clarification from my learned friends on the subject of Sardar Sarovar Nigam Deep Discount Bond which was allotted by the Government of Gujarat in 1995 and is expected to mature in 2014. But due to some changes in the policy the government decided to close this scheme in 2009 by giving all the bond holder an amount of about 50000/-.

I will like to know if it is compulsory to redeem the Sardar Sarovar Bond? I have not redeemed it till date and therefore what will be the effect? Also, what is the latest position.

Please throw some light over the issue

It is Compulsary to redeem the sardar sarovar narmada nigam bonds, if u hv not redeem it till date then u can redeem now as well. u shall do further correspondence immediately. U can fill the following attached form and send it to MCS Ltd. at the address mentioned in the form.
