SRCC-Shri Rajnikanth College of Commerce

We could really afford to say that SRCC means and only means Shri Rajnikanth College of Commerce. This cannot be doubted with the way the college has announced its cut-off for this year B.Com(Hons.) admissions.

The cut-offs for General category aspirants needed at least 96% (non-commerce students needed 100%) to get a seat in BCom (honours ) and 95.25% for admission in BA (honours ) economics. One will really fall sick seeing this...

really only rajni family members can take admission in it...................R////A/////J/////N/////I

(well jokes apart......)

how can u expect huge no. of students with 100%-------really an another attack at school life

Please check that 90-95% of the seats are already occupied after the announcement came up for cut-offs on day 1... Also there was only 1 candidate scoring 100% in best 0f 4 applicable for admissions...

M. S. Shreelakshmi, a student of Kerala Board who has applied to DU’s St Stephen’s College, got 100 in all the subjects.

there's no doubt regarding the depth of pool of india's talent..........!

thing of concern is student.....now onwards the upcoming students next year aspiring to get admission in SRCC will surely be affected...........may be wanting a BOOK WORM

I think something wrong in marking system. . . . . . And i think paper should be on national level i.e. A paper for whole india but it is not possible due to major diff. Between facility and regional cultuare etc.

Dear members

I am also a passout of SRCC. Completed myy graduation in 2007. Acha h i completed at that time...agar abhi admission lena hta to kbhi nhi hta mera.

Akhil sir you qualified then standards to get in and now time & standards both are changed...

Achieving 85-90% was dream come true for students 5 years ago.. Now its just a play.. Actually now guidance classes are doing their job by spoon feeding and preparing the children examination point of view. So 1 scores enough..

It is wrong process of DU for admission of Students on the basis of Marks secures in 12th Standard.

Many of us know there may be result vary, in some times Brilliant Student scores less marks in compare to General Students sometimes.

So, DU should adopt Entrance Examination for Addmission of Students in Colleges.

Instead of opting for entrance exam, one should come up with common education formula upto 12th Standard.. Judging students from their 12th Standard marks is really a bad practice since education varies regionally and their is no common platform..

can i participate in u r jokes

funny discussion goin on here...about SRCC....BUT INSPITE OF THE HIGH CUTOFFS THE SEATS ARE FULL....ONLY 25 SEATS LEFT AS FAR AS WATS GIVEN IN TODAYS NEWSPAPER............students r really scoring well, so cut offs going sky high.:)

Why are we discussing here high cutoffs in DU

No one is concerned with colleges in other parts of country.

Why every one wants admission in Delhi University only ? Why colleges in other cities are not at par with DU colleges ? How many students of delhi university are resident of Delhi ?

In my view, the only reason for high cut offs in DU is "inferior colleges in other cities". If Mr. Sibbal is so much concerned about high cut offs in DU, he must also look at quality of colleges in small cities.
