Some hope for articles: some positive expectation from ICAI

One of my friends who is CA; and attended a  CA conference some days back at some metro where one of the newly elected Regional Council Member said that there is gonna be some positive news on transfer; and perhaps it could be scrapped. He and the representatives of his regions are pressurizing   icai to scrap the useless rule.

Brothers and sisters in arms, this is the time to strike. One should strike when the iron is hot. So please start mailing the office bearers esp. the chairman of BOs, VP and president in bulk. We have to pressurize  the institute to make decisions in our favour.

But the RCM didn’t mention whether articleship will be reduced or not.

that's the sorry story mate; that icai acts like a turtle. Parr better late than ever. There are still many pcc students trapped under 3.5 years rule. Reduction of 6 months would be welcome for them as well as students having extension can give exam in their pre-decided date of finals.

and please chopra dude; remove transfer ban totally

There requie some felxibility rule with respect to transfer...That is required...Basically what is the purpose of transfer..Mostly all the CA will exploit the article if you go every where...

But ther must be stric rules for preventing Dummy articleship....

Hey tomorrow will be the council meeting . And i am not sure but probably the topic is removing restiction on articleship transfer. So friends mail the council member that atleast they should allow 2 transfer without any restiction. We have only 1 day to mail them and that is today. So do fast.
