Should i leave ca?

Final 3710 views 34 replies

this is the 4th time I gave Group 2 (already cleared Group 1 in May 12) everytime I am falling short by 7-11 marks. I feel like my efforts to pass CA exams are a joke....

last 3 attempts I got 49 in AMA, this time 38. I DONT understand how? I have an exemption in ISCA from November 12.

even when the papers go well the result is marks in the range of 40-55.

I am so frustrated now I cant describe in words...Its like I am an idiot who has wasted 2 yrs studying Final with no results.

I think I'll QUIT CA now.

My MARKS 193 out of 200.

Hey Anirban, don't loose your cool, just start preparing once again.. u are very near to it... its a matter of 3 papers and little luck, have faith in God. don't forget to go for reverification of your answersheets.

Good Luck..!

No u should not leave CA bcoz u are on verge of completion, & moreover u are thinking of the short term losses which u are suffering at the moment. Once u clear CA ur long term benefits will repay ur current losses. Moreover  u  should carry on CA atleast for now till u have ISCA exemption. Try to sit & analyse ur strengths & then try to build up on those, also at the same time try to weed out ur weakness, if any.

I want to assure u that had u lacked capability u wouldn't have come till this stage. U have only 3 papers left out of 8, so why this irrational thought. Think, analyse & then take ur call, but I think it is foolish on ur part to leave at this stage bcoz all ur past endeavours will  become useless.

thank you very much for your reply...guys! I realize that I am not the only one going through this right now.

I have felt this Have passed 2nd group in Nov 2012 Appeared for first group this time fr52 sfm53 audit 29 law 66 total 200 And audit was my best paper of all I can't understand how can this happen

NO!!!

First thing forgive yourself. Release the need to replay a negative situation over and over again in your mind. Don't remind yourself of what should have, could have or would have been. Release it and let it go. You can't change the past, but you can determine that your past will not define your present, or dictate your future. Decide within yourself that you won’t stop until you achieve your dream. It won’t come easy. So you must be willing to go all out, and do whatever is required to make your dream become reality. Be confident. Know that you're brilliant, and full of potential.  You've the capacity that can turn the most disastrous situation around overnight. Rise above the pain! You're bigger than your circumstances or your life situation. Don't listen to any person or automatic negative thoughts. Refuse to live a defeated life. You were born to do GREAT things! Success can be yours...regardless of your present situation or circumstances. Tap into the discipline, the perseverance, and the mindset of determination to create a new future for yourself. Affirm to yourself that no excuse is acceptable to keep you from achieving your goal. You've the ability to do things, that you can't even possibly begin to imagine.

Dear Friend,

Do not think of leaving your career, just for the sake of not passing it.I have cleared my CA final Group I in May 2006,and cleared my second group in Nov 12,Count the number of years I have given for the achivement. In those years I have nver ever thought of leaving my job or anything lese.for that I got support of my mother,my wife, father. Please do your self evaluation. In those years ,I read most of philosphical books, advice from the junior how they have cleared their exams.Focussed studies.

Do all the things ,which you need to do to achive 200  marks for passing

Target 200 % goal,so that you will achive 10%

With Warm regards

It really can be painful to taste failure.

But friends, please have faith in yourself and try harder next time.

It will make you tougher and stronger.

And most importantly, believe in God.

My dear friend here is a post from a facebook page. Hope this will help :) Hello everyone, My post goes out to all those who failed as an attempt that they do not get disheartened and lose hope. I'm putting up some facts that I've personally seen in my 15 years of practice just so they know what I've seen. 1. Clearing in 1st attempt and ranks only give you a slight edge over others but it'll be worthless in the long term 2. Those who've cleared in the first attempt all exams most of the time find it harderto struggle and accept failure later on in life as they never tasted it 3. Those who clear CA easily at first attempt tend to undermine the course unlike those who had to struggle a bit as they really value it. 4. 5 years or even 10 years later no one will care how many marks you got whether you cleared in one attempt or six whether you got a rank or not. But what matters is what you will do later on with your life 5. I have friends and know some ex- articles who took a while to clear their course but they ended up more successful with a better job than rank holders. 6. Take this failure in your stride if you overcome this you will only be a better person 7. Its always during your worst time when the best in you comes out. 8. You never really fail in CA. Your success just gets delayed. The only time you WILL fail is when you quit. I have nothing against rankholders and those who cleared at the first attempt, but these are somethings i noticed just so those who failed know life is not over it will move on. All the best.
