Good News......
In a move that will boost investor sentiments and protect innocent small investors, finance ministry is proposing to allow (as an exception for F.Y. 08-09 only) short term capital losses incurred by investor in share market (A category companies only) against Salary Income. Detail notification can be downloaded from https://www.incometaxindia.gov.in
List of companies for which such short term losses can be adjusted against Salary Income is enclosed.
