Dear All,
We have a client who has a Godown in Bhiwandi, Rehnal Village. The client claims that they do not require any Shop & Establishment Approval for their godown herein. However, I am unable to find any law refernece for the same. They further claim that rehnal village is under some panchayat law where Shop & Establishment is not required. Is the company correct under some panchayat act or any other local law??

bhiwandi zone comes under Thane Division and it requires Shop and establishment License. and it comes under Bombay shop and establishment Act 1938.
