hey Apoorva Hello I am not CA but on my way so hope you won't mind my comment here :) I found the que interesting and even i too keep thinking what should be opt......... Just a thought Both practice and job are best in own place and both needs struggle. Ha one thing which i guess benefits practicers are after a period they will be known by their particular name but jobbers will be known with company's success But yes in both cases hard work is same..................... For girls...........as we live in India and marriage is considered important at right age for girls...they can opt for job for a particular time-period after they marriage they may set up practice :)

Thanks ankit......but how many of you feel that a job and practice will need completely different sets of skills.......like in practice a person should be good at socialising.......WHAT SAY.....

And what about the assurance that you get from both......i mean to say......that a job may pay you initially...but what when you turn 40+.....will not you be replaced by new chartereds.......AS AGAINST THIS.....in practice initially there is huge waiting time.....gestation period....but may be you are assured about owning a going concern ;-)
