Hi,

can Trust hold the shares of the Company? is there any notification in this regard?

Why not is there any restriction? number of companies offer ESOP through trust route and trust is holding share till vesting in it's name.

yes trust can hold shares through trustees  refer membership chapter frm recognised authors book n case law
