i am facing an issue in septembers gstr 3b wherein i have to pay cgst (rs. 941) and have standing sgst (rs. 429) credit.. but they are not allowed to be setoff against each other...
this happened because my purchases were local in delhi. however my sales were partly local and partly central..

Cross utilization of ITC is permissible as prescribed in law. CGST credit can be utilized for payment of IGST. However, the law does not allow cross utilization of credit of SGST for payment of CGST.
Igst credit can be adjusted with Igst cgst & sgst. But cgst with cgst & sgst with sgst only.
