Settlement of stock value dispatch on consignment basis

I have receive goods valuing Rs 10 lakhs on consignment basis and by the direction of consignor i sold it at Rs 4 lakhs on a discount of Rs 6 lakhs. Now my stock is Nil but sales tax dept. is saying u sold and paid VAT on 4 lakh and stock of 6 lakh still in ur accounts. Now how can i adjust this 6 lakh value stock and what documents i need to summitt to sale tax dept. to Nil my stock. what i have ask Conginor to settle by stock
