and can it be set off against any other firm's profit where partners are same as dissolved firm.
and how partners are eligible to carry forward the loss.

where partners of another firm are same as dissolved firm,such another firm can not set off losses of preceding firm
furthur if a partner is retired from firm,even he can not carryforward unabsorbed losses of firm to the extent of his share
