Query is for an individual who conducts drama at small stage level. Drama spreads social message and it is conducted in rural areas. Team include members which are not constant show wise, its changes. That person is organiser, director and writer of drama.
whether he is laible to pay service tax for the income recieved from government ?
Whether he is liable to pay service tax when he acts as writer/director to shows conducted by orthers??

If you are provided the taxable service to Govt. or such services also recd.from Govt. either case liability to be pay service tax in your hand.
Further you are also eligible to exemption of SSI limit i.e. 10 lakh p.a.
