whether refund can be claimed of service tax paid in inputs?

Ms Deepali, how service tax involved in case of inputs? it is desired that question should be well-eleborated so everybody can easily understand the situation. Specifically for service tax, being complicated, each and every details should be given i.e. involved party, their status, who serve whom and how money flow routed etc.

Sir input is used is providing output services which is exported

Refund will be allowed or credit can be utilised against output excise. becoz there is one concept - export the good or service not the taxes

Dear Deepali U could claim cenvat credit agnst output service tax liability. Subject to sec. 66D and Rule 6 of finance act 1994.

Hiiii Dipali Under rule 2(9), we can put online claim of service tax refund on export of goods and service at rates specified on Feb value or Under rule 3, we can file Physical refund claim to department for all service tax paid to service provider. Note : we should work out both way, put claim for whichever is more beneficial.
