Hi.....

In Self Study you need  to take care of fallowing:-

1) Good Material

2) Patience

3) Confidence on yourself

4) Understandability

Gathering a good material is a first and foremost step.

You need to study for hours to understand the concepts clearly.

Don't panic, if you unable to understand a particular topic. Take the help of your seniors nearby. You should take help of any senior for clarifying your coming doubts.

Dont loose your confidence at any level, you may see your friends going faster than you as they are taking coaching. Always believe in your self, hardwaork.. preservence... clear understanding.... these are important

You should have inbuilt ability to underastand the concepts. If you are like a person, who can understand if and only if others explained to you, you should evaluate yourself in this aspect

This is my personal expierience, this may not applicable to all.
