Self assessment tax paid receipt

I have paid self assessment tax while submitting my IT return through IB channel. Unfortunately my receipt was not generated and error occurred. Now I have to mention details of the tax paid. How to get receipt from IT ?

Navigate to "e-Pay Tax" and "Payment History":

Once logged in, go to the "e-File" dropdown menu on the dashboard.

  • Select "e-Pay Tax" from the options.

  • On the "e-Pay Tax" page, you will see tabs like "Saved Drafts," "Generated Challans," and "Payment History." Click on "Payment History."

 View and Download Challan Details:

  • In the "Payment History" section, you will find a list of all your tax payments and generated challans.

    You might be able to apply filters (e.g., date range) to easily locate a specific challan

  • To download the challan, look for an option (often represented by three dots or a download icon) next to the relevant challan entry and click on "Download." The challan will usually be downloaded as a PDF file.

 

Get hold of the e challan . No need to forward the issue to grievance cell.
