whether bonus shares are covered in section 112A

Yes, with COA as the max price quoted on 31.01.2018.
but in section 112a it is mentioned that for equity shares STT has to be paid at time of acquisition and at time of transfer. But bonus shares don't fulfill this condition. So why 112 A will apply for bonus shares?
