Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies that there isn't a specific threshold limit for TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) on salary. Instead, TDS is calculated based on an employee's total income after deducting eligible expenses. If a tax liability arises, it's then computed according to the relevant slab rates, as per section 192. The conversation also touches upon the distinction between TDS and Income Tax (IT) and how both can apply to salary earnings.

No threshold limits for TDS on salary.

TDS on salary based on Computation with All Incomes and less All Deductions. After that arise any Tax liability then the liability will calculate as per Slab Rate...
It depends upon the employee and employer section 192

find out tds calculation here, the question is? Is TDS  and IT both applicable on salary?
