Dear all,
one of our client has got income tax notice stating that the amount mentioned under head salary in income tax return doesn't match with 26AS ....
But the fact is the amount we mentioned is correct as per Form 16B.
NOW WHETHER I HAVE TO AGREE OR DISAGREE AT THE TIME OF SUBMITTING THE RESPONSE

Disagree the same as if you show the salary income as per form 16 and also write reason of mismatch

There is no consequences if department disagree with your reply then he gives opportunity to you to submit documents or call for it that time you have to show your form 16 and explain it. That's it

Agreed. You have option to attach the Form 16 while disagreeing the demand itself.
