Reverse charge mechanism
Whether i should pay CGST, SGST or IGST under RCM (service from government departments)

I think no need if the services are exempt... Otherwise taxable supplies then RCM is applicable as per the date of applicability...
Dear Mohit,
Any services provided by government are liable under reverse charge except renting of immovable property.
But just be careful regarding the definition of Government whether the dept from which you are taking service is falling under Government defn or not.
Further such services shall be taxable supplies, exempt supplies are not liable under reverse charge.
