Hi,
I was a director in a company wherein i resigned from the Board of Directors more than 5 years ago. The company didnt file Form 32, nor filed the annual returns thereafter as the other directors moved to USA. Now, my digital signature has been marked as "a director in a defaulting company". Repeated mails to the other directors are not getting any response. What should I do to clear my name from the Board of Directors of the above company ?

Approach the ROC under whose Jurisdiction your Company Falls. Narrate him the whole issue, Show him the Acknowledged Documents of Submission of your Resignation & If you Possibly can get hold of the Copy of Agenda & Minutes of the Meeting where in Your Resignation was Taken up & Approved than that fact must also have been Minuted in the Meeting. & your Problem will get Solved easily at Registrar Office with his Interference.

Apparently, the RoC has not been of much help. I feel like trapped in a cross-firing, because neither I am in a position to affect the dealings of the first company, nor am I getting a positive response from the RoC. What are the options in such a case ?
